Wesoła - bo weselna szkocka piosenka. Współczesna legenda głosi, że piosenkę tę napisano w początkach XX wieku dla wymienionej w tekście Mairi, czyli Marysi. Ona zaś żyć miała jeszcze całkiem niedawno, a być może żyje nadal w jakiejś zapomnianej wiosce.
