Portmore jest dziś małą mieściną w obecnej Irlandii Północnej, nad jeziorem Loch Beg. Niegdyś stał tam okazały zamek, o którym między innymi mowa w piosence, a po którym dzisiaj niewiele pozostało. Nie jest to wcale piosenka miłosna, jak by się tego można było spodziewać po melodii, stanowi „łagodniejszą” formę pieśni rewo-lucyjnej :)
